The night was actually much darker than it appears in the picture. It is the 29th day of lock down for the city, the city in its deepest slumber.
I find myself starting to make lists - lists of meals I made and pictures of them pretending to be delicious (some of them were actually delicious), and lists of all the food I placed order with my neighbors (the only option of online shopping).
Like any caged animal, the initial days are usually the most difficult. In time you will find yourself getting used to the silence of the streets outside your window, of the scene of the black dog and cats wandering across the streets puzzled by its emptiness, and of the fear in the air.
And then there comes the peace.
