Symptoms of Stress

Many people are stressed but just don't know that they are stressed. They just don't know what to look for. They just feel something that is bothering them but can't name it. There are two kinds of symptoms of stress, mental, and physical.


There are a lot of symptoms that can be caused by chronic stress (stress that lasts for a long time). However, I will only list some of the commonly known ones.


Symptom #1 - Mental Health Problems


You can get mental health problems if you are stressed for too long. Some mental health problems can be depression, anxiety, and personality disorder. The reason for this is that there are three stages of stress. The first stage boosts the speed of your work and is good for you. The second stage will start to drain your energy and make you exhausted. You would be more likely to give up on things and will have less self-confidence. The last stage is when your energy is drained and you will get angry very easily. It is just because you have no energy left that you will develop mental health problems.


Symptom #2 - Cardiovascular disease


Cardiovascular disease is a disease of the blood cells. The cardiovascular disease stress can cause are heart disease, high blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythms, heart attack, and strokes. Which heart attacks and strokes are the most deadly. When you are stressed for a long time, your body will create a chemical called cortisol to resist the stress. When cortisol works, you will get exhausted and your blood cholesterol (a thing you need to build healthy blood cells), triglyceride (a kind of fat), blood sugar, and blood pressure. All of these are the cause of heart attack and heart disease. Also, when there is too much blood cholesterol in your body, it can cause clotting in your blood veins and will cause a stroke.

Symptom #3 - Obesity and Eating Disorder


One of the things that girls hate, is obesity. Obesity is the state of having too much fat, causing your heart, bones, and lungs to struggle to support your weight. Stress eating is some people's solution to stress and stress eating is often eating junk food. That is the cause of obesity during stress. However, many people have found. That stress eating is not a solution to releasing stress. For, stress eating will cause obesity, and obesity will eventually become one's stress.
