Have you ever thought about what a serious problem stress is? Stress is important because according to nasdonline.org, 90% of illnesses are caused by stress. That means that 90 people out of 100 people are so stressed that they are sick. This shows how important releasing stress is.

So, releasing stress is an extremely big step to good health.

Tip #1 - Being Mindful

Being mindful is one way to release stress. Studies have shown that mindfulness influences two different stress pathways in the brain, changing brain structures and activity in regions associated with attention and emotion regulation. Also, a big part of meditation is to clear your mind. Stress is practically just anxiety but more severe. However, clearing your mind will help to lessen the stress.

Tip #2 - Do More Exercise And Have A Healthy Diet

Getting exercise can pump up your endorphins. Endorphins is one thing that can make you happy and getting more endorphins can help to stop stress from worsening. For, if you are stressed for a long time, it can cause depression. So, if you have all of those endorphins, you won't get too depressed. Having a healthy diet will also help to release stress. A lot of people are stressed because of their weight, so getting a healthy diet can also lessen their weight. Having a healthy diet can also stop or reduce stress eating.

Tip #3 - Get More Sleep

Getting more sleep can help with stress because it improves concentration. It regulates mood, sharpens the mood, and decision making. Lack of sleep will reduce your energy, and diminishes mental clarity. However, you might say "We are stressed, we are finding sleep a problem". If you can't sleep at night, don't go and get some medicine. You could try meditation shortly before bed. Take a hot bath or shower. Or, even though this will sound silly, you could try to count sheep. Counting sheep is a great way to make your brainpower off.

In short, releasing stress is a very important thing and you should not think about stress as a mere concern.
